There are many traditions that centre around Halloween not only is it the spooky fun time of year  but also for some people this is the time of year that marks the final harvest and the continued ebbing of the sun’s energies, winter is fast approaching and its time to let go of the old and welcome the new!

Halloween is a great day for cleaning the house and getting rid of any old energy in the house you can literally sweep it out the back door with your witches broom ( or a normal brush will do) ancient Celts would do this in order to rid the house off the old year in preparation for the coming new year that was celebrated on the 1st November.

What ever you believe its a good excuse to get your brush out and have a sort out!
